HONOR THE SERVICE OF VETERANS AND REMEMBER THEIR SACRIFICES, PRESERVE HISTORY AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC.
VISION
Create a museum that is a healing place for veterans and a place for the public to gain an understanding of their service. Expand the Vietnam War Museum to exhibits of recent conflicts, increase the hours of operation, the public visibility of the museum, and modernize the museum with media displays of veteran interviews and a venue for veterans to record their stories.

Craig LaMountain opened the original museum in 2000, dedicating it to his brother who died serving in the Vietnam War. Our foundation will continue and expand on LaMountain’s original vision while adhering to these four principals:
